These are special MR techniques for evaluating the small bowel and its conditions. HYGEIA Hospital’s MRI Department is a center of excellence in Magnetic Resonance Imaging and the only center in Greece that can perform MRI-guided interventional breast procedures. It is very effective in diagnosing many breast conditions, while it may provide answers to a wide range of clinical problems. It is a specialized imaging exam, which must be performed when there are appropriate indications. It is usually performed as a supplemental imaging study following mammography, clinical exam or ultrasound.
